Does WhatsApp really send itself, or is it just templates?
It really sends itself. Automan has its own WhatsApp gateway server — messages & invoices go out automatically without you opening WhatsApp and clicking one by one (unlike many apps that only prepare templates). We’re honest: this is a non-official gateway, complete with a safe-usage guide, natural delays, and an explanation of the risks — not an "unbannable" promise.
So many features — isn’t it complicated?
Quite the opposite. You start with the repair flow using built-in defaults that just work — nothing to configure. Only the modules you install show on screen, so the interface stays simple. The many settings are optional: they let Automan follow your shop’s policies as you grow — not a prerequisite to start. And if you get stuck, there’s a support group and WhatsApp admins ready to help — free.
Is my shop’s data mixed with other shops?
No. Every Store App uses its own database — your shop’s data doesn’t share a room with thousands of others. This is an architectural-isolation claim, not a promise that "leaks are impossible".
If I stop, what happens to my shop’s data?
Lite is free forever, so the account doesn’t "expire" — as long as it’s used, data stays, and you can export it to Excel anytime. Note: a Store App not accessed at all for 6 months becomes dormant and its data is permanently deleted.
Is this for auto repair shops or for electronics repair?
Both — and not by slapping a label on one to sell the other. When you create a Store App you pick a Business Type: car workshop, motorcycle workshop, phone & computer counter, or general electronics repair. That choice rewords the whole app (technicians become Mechanics, service units become Vehicles) and seeds the starting catalogues for your trade. Run both trades? Run two Store Apps under one account. More detail: Automan for auto repair shops or Automan for phone repair shops.
Is every tax automatic?
No — and we don’t promise that. What runs automatically: VAT for VAT-registered shops on taxable transactions, and employee income tax (PPh21). Other taxes aren’t automatic yet, and we say so plainly.
Can it be opened on a phone?
Yes. Automan is web-based — open it from a phone, tablet, or computer browser without installing an app, and the layout adapts to the screen. Because it’s cloud-based, updates roll out automatically with no manual updating.
I already use another app — is switching hard?
You don’t have to switch overnight. Import customers, products, and opening stock from Excel; opening accounting balances are settled with the opening-balance wizard — no need to understand journals.
