Manage Store App Modules: Install, Uninstall, Activation
Automan is modular: you install only the parts your shop needs. This tutorial teaches one skill that resolves a lot of confusion at once — because almost every “where did my menu go?” case is answered in Module Setting.
The rules are simple: free modules just need Install; premium modules activate with a token from an official reseller (Set Token → Redeem), stay active for the token’s duration, and the system reminds you by email before they expire.
Before you start
- A Store App already exists (see the Create a Store App tutorial).
Steps
-
Open Module Setting from the Account Panel
Account Panel → Store App → click Module Setting on the Store App in question. This is where every module gets installed and removed.
Every module is installed and removed from Module Setting. -
Understand the principle: menus follow modules
Each module brings its own menus and features into the Store App. A menu not showing in the app? Almost always the module isn't installed or its active period expired — check here first before worrying.
Menu missing? Check its module here first. -
Install modules from the Available list
In List Module under Available, click Install on the modules the shop needs. Install only what you use now — other modules can follow anytime.
Install only what's in use now — the rest can follow. -
Uninstall with care
In List Module under Installed, click Uninstall → Yes. IMPORTANT: uninstalling can cause loss of data tied to that module — make sure it's genuinely unused, and back up first when in doubt.
Uninstalling can delete related data — back up first when in doubt. -
Know the premium modules and how to get them
Some modules are premium (examples: CRM/WhatsApp, touch-screen POS, Payroll, Promotion & Points) and are activated with tokens ordered through official resellers.
Premium modules are activated with tokens from official resellers. -
Activate a premium module token (Set Token)
Once you hold a token: Account Panel → Store Apps → Module Setting → in List Module Installed click Set Token on the matching module (example: a Payroll token → Set Token on the Payroll module) → enter the token → Redeem. The module stays active for the token's duration.
Token → Set Token on the matching module → Redeem. -
Watch the modules' active periods
As expiry nears, the system sends an automatic email about modules that are about to expire — renew by ordering another token from the reseller, then use Set Token again.
Watch the expiry dates; the system emails a reminder before the active period runs out.
What you end up with
You can install and remove modules safely, know which modules are premium, and activate premium tokens yourself — the Store App's menus always match the shop's needs.
If something goes wrong
A menu doesn't show in the Store App
Check Module Setting: is the module installed and its active period still valid? Only after that, check the access rights of the logged-in user.
Afraid of losing data on uninstall
The risk is real — data tied to the module can go with it. Back up first via Settings → Backup & Restore, and uninstall only modules that are genuinely unused.
Token won't redeem
Make sure the token goes into the matching module (a Payroll token only fits the Payroll module), is typed exactly, and hasn't expired. If it still fails, contact the reseller that issued the token.
