Copy Products & Settings: Open Branch Two Without Retyping
You open a second branch. The first shop is finally tidy after months of work: hundreds of products, categories that make sense, prices you have adjusted, repair rules you have tested, receipt templates that finally fit.
Then the second shop appears — completely empty.
This is where a lot of owners quietly give up. Not because the branch failed, but because refilling everything feels like starting from nothing for a second time. So the new branch runs on whatever is to hand, its catalogue gets built roughly, its rules drift from head office — and six months later the two shops cannot be compared at all, because they are not holding the same things.
Copy Products & Settings moves the work, not just the list. The product catalogue, Aturan Servis, Aturan Jual, Aturan Beli, and the templates for intake receipts, handover receipts, sales receipts and product labels.
What makes it safe to use is one button: Preview. It shows exactly what will be copied before anything changes. That is your only free chance to back out — and this tutorial names the two options you must check while you are in there, because both can overwrite something your branch had right.
One thing to be clear about from the start: this is a one-off copy, not synchronisation. A product you create tomorrow at head office will not turn up in the branch by itself.
Before you start
- Two active Store Apps on the same account: one already organised, one new.
- The source shop is genuinely tidy. Copying a messy shop only duplicates the mess.

Tidy the source shop first — this is the decisive step
Copying is a multiplier. Duplicate categories, wrong prices and undecided rules all land in the new shop too, and fixing them in two places takes far longer than fixing them in one. Spend an hour tidying the source before copying anything.

Open Settings → Salin Produk & Pengaturan
The menu sits in the Settings group. From here you choose which shop is the source and what travels across. Note this is not continuous synchronisation — it is a one-off copy that you trigger yourself.

Decide whether product photos travel too
There is an Ikut foto produk option (include product photos). Switching it on makes the new shop look finished immediately, but the copy becomes much heavier. On an unstable connection, copy without photos first, confirm the products are right, then deal with images later.

Understand the Update harga produk yang sudah tersambung option
This is the one that deserves real thought. Switched on, prices in the destination follow the source. Useful when you genuinely want uniform pricing across branches. Dangerous when a branch prices differently on purpose because of delivery costs or local spending power — carefully adjusted prices can be overwritten.

Choose which rules travel: Servis, Jual and Beli
Three rule groups can be copied separately: Aturan Servis (repair), Aturan Jual (selling) and Aturan Beli (buying). Copying all three makes the new branch behave exactly like the old one — usually what you want, because staff moving between branches then have nothing to relearn.

Look very carefully at the costing method option
There is an Inventori (metode costing) choice plus a Paksa ganti metode costing option (force costing change). The costing method decides how cost price is calculated, and changing it in a shop that already has transactions changes profit figures you have already reported. For an empty new shop this is safe. For a running shop, do not touch it without a genuinely strong reason.
Watch the costing method option closely. -
Include the receipt templates so the new branch does not feel foreign
These can travel too: Nota Terima Servis (intake receipt), Nota Penyerahan Servis (handover receipt), Nota Penjualan (sales receipt) and Template Label Produk. A small detail with a large effect — customers receiving differently laid-out receipts at each branch feel they are dealing with two shops that do not know each other.

Press Preview first — never go straight to Jalankan
There are two buttons and the order matters. Preview shows what will be copied before anything changes. Read the result: does the product count look plausible? Are the ticked rules the ones you meant? Preview is your only chance to back out at no cost.

Only then press Jalankan, and wait without closing the page
Copying a large catalogue takes time, especially with photos. Leave the page open until it finishes. Closing midway risks leaving the destination half-filled, and working out what already arrived is far more trouble than waiting.

Run one real transaction in the new shop before handing it to staff
Record one genuine repair and one genuine sale. What you are checking: the catalogue appears, prices are right, the receipt prints cleanly. Ten minutes here saves a week of questions from the new branch.
What you end up with
A new branch opens with the same product catalogue, repair and trading rules, and receipt templates as your established shop — without retyping anything, and without surprises, because you inspected it through Preview first.
If something goes wrong
Products copied but without their photos
The Ikut foto produk option was not switched on. Run the copy again with it enabled, or upload the images afterwards if there are only a few.
My branch prices were overwritten by head office prices
The Update harga produk yang sudah tersambung option was active. Switch it off before copying again. For branches that deliberately price differently, never enable it at all.
The copy stopped partway through
Usually the page was closed or the connection dropped. Run Preview again to see what has not arrived, then repeat. Re-copying does not duplicate products while their names match.
The destination shop already has products — will they clash?
That is exactly why Preview must be read first. If the destination already holds stock, consider copying only the rules and receipt templates and leaving the product catalogue alone.
Does this keep the two shops in sync?
No. It is a one-off copy that you trigger, not a running synchronisation. A product you create tomorrow in the source shop will not appear by itself in the destination — run it again if you need to.
